• Florida Beach Bar is famous for its popular night life and warm atmosphere. This became the driving concept when re designing and sourcing furniture and fixtures for the largest open-air dining venue in Terrigal. The brief required Siren to ‘cater for all’ from intimate informal dining, to communal bench style outdoor seating, high bench bar seating and beer garden dining. This busy night life meant that all finishes needed to be durable and hard wearing whilst still maintaining a warm aesthetic and inviting nature. With a fresh and vibrant approach we used a lot of natural tones and materiality with splashes of bold blues and greens. All furniture items went through a vigorous testing and selection process to ensure the best quality and appearance. Feature accents, such as the large sandstone tiles used for the long bar front were specifically sourced to add texture and light while drawing on bringing the outside in.

  • The client also wanted a soft seating area at the rear of the bar where there is a large elevated stage and recessed high ceilings. The installation of geometric wallpapers and soft feature pendant lights creates a separate intimate space addressing all needs in one area. This overlapping of spaces formed a light, bright and large multifunctional space that suits Terrigal’s beach style lifestyle.
